Other Details to Note

We’re so glad you’re considering a stay at the St. Paul Speakeasy! To help make your visit smooth and enjoyable, here are a few things we like to share ahead of time: 🛎️ Security & Check-In We use Ring video doorbells outside only for your safety and to help us make sure everything matches the reservation. If someone other than the person who booked tries to check in, or if extra guests arrive, we’ll be notified. It’s just a way to keep things secure and running smoothly. 🪜 Stairs & Sound There’s a 3-foot-wide staircase with shorter steps that leads down to the 900 sq ft basement apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 bath), and five stairs up to the front door from the sidewalk. While there is insulation between floors, you may hear some normal “living” sounds like footsteps, plumbing, or voices from the main floor above. 🎉 Gatherings & Quiet Hours This is a peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your time in St. Paul. If you're planning to stay up late or host a lively gathering, this might not be the best fit. We ask that you be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evenings. -- ✨ Extras: Before you arrive, we want to give you a quick heads-up about a few important things that are covered in our rental agreement. Nothing intense—just the usual stuff to make sure everyone has a great experience: 📅 Dates & Times: Your stay starts at check-in time on your arrival date and ends at check-out time on your departure date. If you need to come early or stay late, just let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate if possible! 💳 Payment: The full rental amount is due when you book (or according to the payment plan you selected here on Airbnb). 👥 Guest Count: Please stick to the number of guests listed in your reservation. This includes anyone stopping by, even briefly. If you need to make changes, just reach out! 🎂 Age Requirement: The person booking must be at least 25 years old and staying at the property the whole time. We'll require a photo ID to verify. 🤫 Be a Good Neighbor: No loud parties, fireworks, or anything that might disturb the neighbors. Quiet hours apply—thanks for keeping things chill! 🧹 Respect the Space: No smoking inside, no unauthorized pets, and please treat the home with care. If anything gets damaged, let us know—we totally understand that accidents happen. 🔒 Safety First: Lock up when you leave and when you check out. It helps keep everyone’s belongings safe. 🚫 No Subletting: Only the people on the reservation should be staying here—no renting it out to others. 🏡 Short-Term Stay Only: This is a vacation rental, not a permanent residence. 🛠️ Maintenance Stuff: If something isn’t working right, let us know ASAP. We’ll do our best to fix it quickly, but we can’t guarantee everything will be perfect 100% of the time. ❌ Cancellations: You can cancel anytime, and any refund will follow the cancellation policy you agreed to when booking. ⚠️ Liability: By staying here, you agree to take responsibility for your group and any activities on the property. We’re not liable for any injuries or accidents.

We loved our time at Elizabeth and Austin’s place! It was the perfect amount of space for our family and offered something much cozier and more peaceful than a hotel during our time in the Twin Cities. It was spotless and just all around lovely. We loved the location and how much there is to do in the area. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay at the property with no issues. Austin and Elizabeth were such lovely hosts who checked in to make sure we were okay the entire time. Gave very clear instructions as well and were very responsive.

Very happy with our stay at Austin and Elizabeth’s place! We were in town for a local show and the space was in perfect distance of the venue. Everything was spotless and exactly as described and the hosts were super responsive and communicative when we had questions. Would definitely book with them again in the future!!

This was perhaps the cleanest airbnb we've ever stayed at. Hosts were very responsive. One or two issues came up (not their fault), and they responded within minutes to resolve. They also went over and above with personalized recommendations.

Our stay was amazing! It was the perfect spot to stay as our family was visiting the Mall of America. It was the perfect size for our little family of 4. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the air bnb outside of sleeping because we were out and about. But it was a great spot to sleep and make a few meals. The house was clean and easily accessible. The hosts were amazing and they were so helpful. We would highly recommend anyone stay here! The king bed was a very soft mattress which isn’t my favorite personally, but the kids said their beds were super comfortable! Thanks for being great hosts and offering a clean space to stay!

We were two father/sons coming to Minny to see Wild, Gophers hockey, Vikings and all of those were very easy to get to via transit. Walk to bus for Wild was 4 minutes and walk to metro for Gophers and Vikings was 12 minutes. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Appreciated the laundry.

It's a smaller 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom unit in the basement of the owners' home, but the space is efficient and worked really well for four adult men for a weekend. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with basic essentials (good for snacks and pre-packaged meals, not as much for cooking). The host were really nice, and the house is close to many St. Paul attractions.

My wife, step son, and I stayed at this wonderful Air B&B. It was in a very quiet and safe area. We absolutely loved the space and would 100% stay here again! The hosts are very easy to communicate with and are extremely nice. We would recommend this to anyone with a small family and wants a relaxing and easy stay.
