Good to know
OUR TEAM We have a small team helping us. We do not offer on-demand services like a hotel. We ask you be kind to our small team, our neighbors, and the small businesses on Main Street Lindstrom :) THE SPACE: Walk-out lakefront access, four 2-person paddleboards (that can also be used similarly to kayaks), a 100" projector screen, knotty-pine walls, modern and fresh renovations, and comfortable furnishings, all complete the Pelican Bay Cabin. Enjoy this entire cabin with modern amenities and charm, all while maintaining the comfort, flexibility, and privacy of a vacation home. The cabin is just minutes from local wineries and vineyards, apple and pumpkin orchards, breweries, restaurants, outdoor adventures in St. Croix and Taylors Falls, the quaint downtown Lindstrom, skiing at Wild Mountain and Taylor's Falls, and so much more. Given that the cabin is in a bay, we are fortunate to enjoy a plethora of wildlife year-round. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat that includes walk-out lakefront access to one of the most sought-after lakes in the region and abundant wildlife, this IS the place for you. The reason wildlife seek out this bay is due to its LACK of sandy beaches. If you are looking for a sand-covered beach, this is NOT the place to stay.

Accessibility and Availability
Neighborhood
Lindstrom, Minnesota, less than a one-hour drive from the Twin Cities, may be the Gopher State’s best kept secret for a weekend getaway or a longer, relaxing vacation. Founded in 1894 by Swedish and Norwegian immigrants, Lindstrom is one of five small towns comprising the community of Chisago Lakes. Though Lindstrom’s population totals about 5,000, the town offers plenty of activities for residents and visitors alike, including: weekly “Harmony in the Park” outdoor concerts; farmers markets during the summer; shopping for Scandinavian gifts, artisan crafts and vintage rarities in the many delightful boutiques on and near Main Street; and, dining at home-town cafes which feature fresh roasted coffee. With that in mind, be sure to visit Lindstrom’s iconic coffee pot water tower! Outdoor enthusiasts will discover abundant offerings, summer and winter alike. Lindstrom is located in the center of a chain of five major lakes, including North and South Chisago Lake, which attract visitors in all seasons. In town, Beach Park on Lindstrom Lake is a favorite place to spend a summer afternoon with its sandy beaches and playground equipment. At Ki-Chi-Saga Park, tour Nya Duvemala, an original 19th century Swedish immigrant house used as the home setting for Karl Oskar and Kristina Nilsson in Vilhelm Moberg’s famous Emigrant Novels. Winehaven Winery, Chisago County's first estate winery, is a cornerstone of Minnesota winemaking. Winehaven produces highly acclaimed wines that capture the distinctive flavors of its vineyards and the region. Allemansrätt (Swedish for “Every Man’s Right”) Park, located on the northwest side of Lindstrom, offers 125 acres of wilderness trails for hiking and cross-country skiing. Trollhaugen and Wild Mountain, acclaimed outdoor recreation centers, offer downhill skiing in the winter and ziplining and water park activities in the summer. Testifying to the region’s diversity “Chisago” is an Ojibwe word meaning “large and beautiful” which describes not only Chisago Lake itself, but this entire, enchanting region which you will want to visit time and again!
